This flexible filler by Bond It has excellent adhesion to most building materials, with its ability to be painted over within 1-2 hours of application, it makes this product great for general repairs inside the home. Small cracks and joints with low movements are fantastic application areas for this product, with; brick, plaster, wood, concrete and plasterboard all being the ideal surfaces for this product to be applied to.

Application

Before application, prepare all surfaces to ensure optimal results when using the product. To complete this, remove any contaminants that may hinder adhesion, this includes; dust, grease, oil and other substances present. Consider using a solvent such as acetone for degreasing if you struggle to remove any present grease.

Some surfaces, like concrete, may need to have primer applied to ensure optimal adhesion, you can check by using the product in a small discreet area and review to see if it needs primer.

1. Apply using a standard sealant gun
2. Cut the tip of the cartridge, being careful not to damage the screw thread
3. Screw the nozzle on and cut it at an angle of 45°, making the opening slightly larger than the gap to be filled
4. After application, tool down within 10 minutes, this can be completed with a wetted spatula or a sealant tool

Do not tool down after it has started to skin, it takes around 20 minutes from application for skinning to occur. Ensure you don't saturate the surface with water, which can delay the curing process.
